**LATEST COVID UPDATE**
The rules requiring people to wear face coverings is changing on 19th July 2021.
In accordance with government recommendations and BVA & RCVS guidance, Scott Veterinary Clinic
still require clients and visitors to the practice to wear a face covering and remain socially distanced when entering the building. No-one will be permitted to enter the premises without a mask unless they are exempt.
We do understand many people will be relieved not to have to wear a mask however, the health and wellbeing of our team is essential for us to continue to provide our veterinary services.
It’s because of these strict measures that we have continued to provide an uninterrupted service, something we wish to continue for our clients and their pets.
PPE is currently necessary for us to be able to function as a business. In addition to using PPE, there have been a number of internal structural changes applied, behind the scenes, to ensure we can continue to provide our veterinary services safely.
Our aim is to continue to keep the risk of COVID-19 as low as possible, to protect our Veterinary team so that we can continue to be here for you and your pets, 24hrs a day, 7 days a week.
Until further notice, our services will continue to operate as they currently do.
This means you will be asked to wait outside for your appointment and your pet will be collected by the vet or nurse for their assessment. You will receive a telephone call from a vet or nurse to discuss the reason for your pets visit, for them to gather a history and to report their findings/recommendations.
Rest assured, our team will dispense lots of cuddles as always and tasty treats (where appropriate).
Upon arrival for an appointment (BEDFORD branch) please text your name, pets name, car make/model/colour to 07767 641753.
Please ensure you have your phone with you, to receive the calls. Alternatively, you may enter the waiting room, to inform our reception team of your arrival, in person – maximum of 4 people only. You may enter the waiting room for payments, medicine/food collection or to notify us of your arrival ONLY at the present time.
Please do not enter the premises if you are symptomatic or live in a household with someone who has tested positive. Please call our team before coming in if you are at all unsure. The services at our branches may vary. You will be advised by our team at the time of booking.
These precautions have enabled our teams to continue to be there
for you and your pets this whole time. Providing we can all follow these safety precautions; we will continue to be there when you need us.
We are aware because of these measures, things sometimes take a little longer. Your patience and understanding is appreciated.
Thank you so much for your continued support.
Updates will be posted on our website and social media pages.
If you have any concerns or need more information, please get in touch.
